Why should I consider private lessons if my child already takes lessons at school?

Private lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to your specific needs and goals, which can lead to faster progress and deeper exploration of your musical interests. We offer flexible scheduling, expert guidance, and a supportive environment that can complement or enhance the general music education offered at school. If you’re looking for a more individualized and focused learning experience, private lessons are the way to go.

Do you provide instruments for rent?

We do not have instruments available for rental. Students rent instruments either through their school or from one of the local music stores.

If you are taking harp or piano lessons, we have instruments available for use during lessons.

Where are lessons taught?

Lessons are provided at Orchard Park schools. Please plan to check in with security, and have ID ready.

Depending on the instrument, day, and other events, we use the following schools.

Orchard Park High School: Use the Baker Rd. side and enter the main doors. For rooms 141-143, they are located in the music wing to the left past the auditorium.

Orchard Park Middle School: Use the main entrance on South Lincoln. Additional parking can be found behind the building. Rooms 121-123 are downstairs. Take the staircase immediately behind the security desk, and they are the first few doors on the left. The Orchestra room is on the main floor behind the cafeteria. Take the hallway to the left, then turn left at the stage entrance and the room is at the end of the hall.

Eggert Road Elementary School: check with security when you arrive.

Windom Elementary School: check with security when you arrive.

When are lessons taught?

Lessons are taught year-round. During the academic year, lessons are scheduled after school, no earlier than 4pm, as well as Saturday mornings. During the summer, lessons are held on weekdays, and the schedule is more flexible. Your specific lesson time will be decided between you and your teacher.

How long are lessons?

Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes long, depending on the student’s age and proficiency.

How does payment work?

Lessons are billed based on the package you register for, and are pro-rated if you begin the program in the middle of a semester. Invoices are payable by cash or check.

What ages do you teach?

All ages are welcome! It’s never too late to learn.
