Why should I consider private lessons if my child already takes lessons at school?
Private lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to your specific needs and goals, which can lead to faster progress and deeper exploration of your musical interests. We offer flexible scheduling, expert guidance, and a supportive environment that can complement or enhance the general music education offered at school. If you’re looking for a more individualized and focused learning experience, private lessons are the way to go.
Do you provide instruments for rent?
We do not have instruments available for rental. Students rent instruments either through their school or from one of the local music stores.
If you are taking harp or piano lessons, we have instruments available for use during lessons.
Where are lessons taught?
Lessons are provided at Orchard Park schools. Depending on the instrument, day, and other events, we use the high school, middle school, Eggert, and Windom.
When are lessons taught?
Lessons are taught year-round. During the academic year, lessons are scheduled after school, no earlier than 4pm, as well as Saturday mornings. During the summer, lessons are held on weekdays, and the schedule is more flexible. Your specific lesson time will be decided between you and your teacher.
How long are lessons?
Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes long, depending on the student’s age and proficiency.
How does payment work?
Lessons are billed on a semester-by-semester basis, and are pro-rated if you begin the program in the middle of a semester. Invoices are payable by cash or check. All prices are determined based on a rate of $60/hr.
Summer 2025: June 30 – August 29 4, 6, or 8 lessons
